World: Homelessness advocacy groups lose $21m in federal government funding




Homelessness groups are facing an uncertain Christmas after the federal government reportedly pulled funding from a number of advocacy organisations.
Several peak organisations that provide policy advice and research into homelessness and housing services received word from the Department of Social Services on Monday that they would no longer receive funding.

New York City: The Ahmadiyya Post will be looking at the sudden increase in homelessness across the world, going from city to city and highlighting the problems that citizens face. In “mega” cities many people are unaware of the situation of their fellow citizens because they are somewhat hidden and live separate lives. However, now is the time to become more socially conscious and tackle these issues contributing to society and its needs.
