London: Individuals mourn death of a Terrorist
At a time when national and international security is the hot topic on everybody's mind. The death of a man with a callous lack of remorse and twisted ideology has created brazen reactions from people across the world. One divine community seems to be reacting peacefully and with a balanced view to this global news. In this age, the war against terror is rife and the battle between 'good and evil' is the world war of our time.
A few hundred of Bin Laden's devoted supporters gathered in London outside the US embassy to mourn the death of a terrorist. Is this the way they should be reacting to a man who inflicted fear into the hearts of nations and claimed to have murdered thousands of innocent Muslims and non-Muslims? Surely if their friends, family or colleagues had been victims of him and his organisation they would not be mourning his death today.
People must understand that individuals, groups, organisations and the world does not oppose or hate him personally but they do hate what he stands for and claims to have done to humanity. His views are a cancer upon society and he has not benefitted humanity in any way, on the contrary he has systematically tried to take humanity back to the dark ages with his nihilistic outlook on religion and society.
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is at the forefront of the opposition against terrorism and we condemn any of form of violence or hatred against anyone. Our motto: Love for All Hatred for None is our universal attitude towards humanity and we practice and endorse it in every step we take. However, certain thoughts and hateful people only represent the views of the minority of mankind, therefore the majority should unite under the banner of Peace to represent the true loving views of humanity.
